Intro

Hi all,

Welcome to my blog.

My initial purpose of setting up this blog is for part of a training/study program I am doing. I am currently a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist based in Perth, Western Australia.

I am currently enrolled in a 2 year training program through the Australian College of Physiotherapy, the purpose of the training program being to, hopefully, pass examinations in 2013 that will enable me to become a Fellow of the Australian College of Physiotherapists (FACP) and a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist.

I am going to use this blog initially to post my interpretation on topics in physiotherapy, pose questions and provide short case studies of patients I have seen in my clinical practice. The purpose of the case studies being to invite critical comment from my training cohort and facilitators. Through this we will be able to discuss opinions on management and assessment of my patients. The end result being improvements in my skills, and hopefully of those who participate. I also welcome my cohort and facilitators to post questions, topics and case reviews.

As time continues I plan for this blog to become a discussion point for all things related to musculoskeletal physiotherapy/medicine.

I also plan to eventually expand this blog to contain information for patients of mine, and the general public.

Anyway here we go…..

Regards,

Mark
